In The Red and Black’s March 4 editorial it is stated that "While Judaism is a minority faith, it should be afforded an equal amount of consideration."

In that case, can the writer offer an explanation for the fact that the University functions normally every Friday, a day which is equally holy to Muslims?

Even though we work, study and take exams on Friday, which is the Muslim equivalent of "Sabbath," we haven’t seen any headlines about it. Is the Jewish faith above other religions? People in this country follow more than seven (that’s how many I could count right off the top of my head) religions.

Do we consider adjusting our work schedule to accommodate all the sacred days for all these beliefs?

In my opinion we have to at some point think about others. If having exams on weekends inconveniences students, then we should rise above this religion argument and make the necessary accommodations.
