11-1 Lady’s meet LSU today
The No. 3 Georgia women’s tennis team begins the longest dual match-playing stretch of its season when it takes on Southeastern Conference foe LSU today at Henry Feild stadium.
The match will mark the first of four the team will play in the next eight days.
The team is undefeated so far on the current month-long homestand, with big wins over top-20 SEC opponents Mississippi and Kentucky.
The team is 11-1 on the year and 3-0 in the SEC.
Today’s match against the Tigers will begin at 5 p.m.
In other tennis news, the team was able to hold onto its No. 3 ranking in the
newest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll released Tuesday.
The two teams ranked above Georgia, No. 1 Florida and No. 2 Duke, retained their rankings. Duke is the only team to beat the Lady Bulldogs in dual match play this season.
