Insurance agencies around town are biting their nails, as wrestling has come back to Athens.

The Professional Wrestling Federation will be returning to Athens this Wednesday at the 40 Watt Club.

The PWF has attracted an audience in Athens, not only by its wrestling but the chance to bring your very own inanimate object into the event and watch as it collides with a wrestler’s head.

The mayhem has been hitting the 40 Watt for the past four months, the first Wednesday of each month. The event, though, is going to have an unusual twist this time. University students will have the opportunity to lay the smack down.

Stemming from the popularity of previous student battle royales as the main event, the PWF will be featuring students.

Bring your wrestling tights and frying pan, it’s go time.

On hand to take part in the carnage will be PWF stars Brutus McNasty and American GI. PWF World Champion Italian Stallion, as well as PWF Commissioner Dr. Jon are scheduled in as the announcing team.
