‘DAMN! Show X’ here to offend, humor
If you are looking to be utterly offended, The DAMN! Show has got you covered.
The DAMN! Show X (named for the tenth episode) will be showing tonight at 10 at The Georgia Theatre.
Waco, an original member of the comedy troupe, said The DAMN! Show is, “a mix of sketch comedy, animated shorts, pranks, man-on-the-street interviews, live music and stand-up comedy.”
Waco said this episode of The DAMN! Show will include more live comedy than before.
“This is the biggest and best show we’ve done,” he said. “A lot more will be live this time. About 15 to 20 minutes will be live, and there will be about one hour 20 minutes of video.”
The show was created when the three original cast members met at the University in 1998, according to the show’s Web site (www.damnshow.com).

Waco said there are many characters featured in the show from Yucko, an alcoholic clown, to peeping toms, and trailer trash women, to a drunken portrayal of Bill Cosby.
Some of Waco’s more memorable characters include Bobby Possumcods, “a white-trash, redneck,” a priest and Jesus. Waco also plays Bill Cosby, he said.
The cast now consists of six members. Lee Sanders, one of the cast’s original members from Athens, moved to Orlando, Waco said.
The cast was excited to include its newest member, Greg Epps, the DAMN! Show’s first black cast member, Waco said.
“He’s an extremely funny guy,” he said.
The show now travels around to many shows in the southeast and has been featured on national television.
Waco said the show has been on Real TV and The Dr. Demento Show, among many others. It will soon be featured on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers.
The skit that will premiere on Crank Yankers features Yucko the Clown calling an alcoholic counciling center that is in a small town outside Athens.
Yucko the clown also is a regular on the Howard Stern Show, Waco said.
He said the show has been seen by over 100,000 college students.
The DAMN! Show is on the University’s Housing Channel 12 and plays every four hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Waco said.
Advance tickets for The DAMN! Show X are on sale at School Kids Records for $8. Tickets will be $10 at the door. Doors open at 9 p.m., and the show starts at 10.
