‘Reason’ to play

By on February 5, 2004

Looking for a “reason” to go out?

Local band and trio, Reason, plays tonight at the Caledonia Lounge.

Although the band formed in 1999 in Snellville playing in parking lots and community gymnasiums, this will be the first show since the shifting and switching of band members.

The new musical lineup features Rhett Coleman (percussion) and original members and University art students Chris Scredon (guitar and vocals) and Evan Mullins (bass and vocals).

Reason, a band that cites its influences as traditional ’90s rock — including the Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Weezer, The Counting Crows and Nirvana — is in the process of recording a full-length album that will be available in the fall.

Doors open at 10 tonight and admission is $5 at the door. Musical fans must be 18 to enter the show.
