Downtown provides variety of boutiques to suit any taste

It is a sure bet that the majority of the University’s newest ladies are not saving up for retirement just yet, whether you have heard the “it’s never too early to start” speech or not.
It is also safe to say that the many downtown clothing stores will not be aiding in this area of business upon the freshmen’s arrival.
Pitaya is the perfect warm-up store for a downtown shopping extravaganza. This store will ease you into your experience with lower prices. Tops, dresses and more can be found here in just about every color.
Nearby is the home of Heery’s, a high-end boutique. Carrying Vera Bradley, this corner store is often dubbed “preppy.” However, they also carry several other designer duds. This is a great spot to find that perfect conservative, yet flirty, dress, but it’s expensive.
If you’re looking to update your gameday wardrobe, Heery’s carries everything red, black and Georgia during football season.
Next, pop across the street to Opulence. New to downtown after relocating from Five Points, this hip store offers great brands for any occasion.
The prices at their new location are much more affordable. Plus, the ambiance is just fun with green and blue walls and creative window displays.
These stores are sure to keep the retirement fund dwindling for four years.
