‘Superbad’

After pleasing audiences with stories about old virgins and unplanned pregnancies, Seth Rogan and his team are back with a raunchy teen comedy, originally written by Rogan and friend Evan Goldberg when they were only 14. In the film, best friends Seth (Hill) and Evan (Cera) are about to graduate from high school and go down separate paths. Scared and saddened by this reality, the duo decide to buy alcohol for the biggest party of the year. Hilarity soon follows.

‘The Last Legion’

Starring: Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley, Aishwarya Rai

Young runaway Romulus Augustus finds the mythical sword “Excalibur” after the fall of Rome. To save his home and all he loves, Romulus teams up with teacher Ambrosinus (Kingsley) and a legionnaire named Aurelius (Firth). Together, they search for the Dragon Legion in a legendary adventure. “The Last Legion” is Doug Lefler’s first turn as a director of a feature film after directing similarly-themed TV shows such as “Hercules” and “Xena.”

‘The Invasion’

Starring: Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Jeremy Northam

A semi-remake of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” “The Invasion” revolves around psychiatrist Carol Bennell (Kidman) and her colleague Ben Driscoll (Craig) as they try to find a cure to an alien epidemic which attacks victims in their sleep and spreads like wildfire. Soon Carol believes her young son can stop the illness but only if she can find him first. The Wachowskis (“The Matrix”) were brought in to rewrite scenes for this thriller.
