Players to Watch

Offense
Knowshon Moreno #24
RB, R. Freshman
The star of the Bulldogs’ first two games has been Moreno, a native of Belford, N.J. Georgia needs to get in the endzone this week, and Moreno may be the one to lead them there, with 253 all-purpose yards in the team’s first two games. He will continue to back up Thomas Brown at tailback.
Mike Malone #5
RB, Senior
For an offense that has struggled this season, Malone is its most dynamic player. He has 114 yards rushing and 113 yards receiving in the team’s first two games and also returns kicks. The Gainesville native will have to be a big-time weapon if WCU wants to pull of the upset.
Defense
Dannell Ellerbe #33
MLB, R. Sophomore
Ellerbe has been a nice surprise, anchoring the Georgia defense with 14 total tackles, one sack and two quarterback hurries this season. Though the defense held South Carolina to 16 points last week, the Bulldogs will have to stop the big play against the Catamounts.
Carlton Bailey #1
CB, Senior
The speedy corner from Jonesboro was a preseason All-Southern Conference selection and play a key role in stopping a Georgia passing attack that has been lackluster to say the least. Bailey had two interceptions in four games last season before a foot sprain ended his year.
