GOING TO JACKSONVILLE?

Sideline Student Safety Stations will provide information and assistance for students at this weekend’s 85th annual clash between Georgia and Florida.

The stations were organized by the University, the City of Jacksonville and the University of Florida, according to a news release.

Friday between 4 p.m. and 3 a.m., students can find the stations behind Starbucks inside The Jacksonville Landing, outside The Jacksonville Landing at the corner of Laura Street and Independent Drive and behind the Florida-Georgia Welcome Center. The stations will be open noon- 3 a.m. Saturday. Access to taxi services, complimentary trolleys, water, telephones, snacks, coffee, maps, computer access, first-aid and other information will be available.

Students requesting assistance at the stations will not be subject to legal action on alcohol issues, according to the release. For more information, visit www.flga.org or call (904) 630-SAFE (7233).
