University student robbed Saturday
A female University student was robbed early Saturday at Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and Ruth Street, according to Athens-Clarke County police. A man grabbed a purse from Elizabeth Callaway, a sophomore from Dalton, between 1 and 1:30 a.m.
According to the ACC news release, the man was a black male with braids wearing a burgundy jacket with white sleeves and a hood.
