A pair of eyeglasses found Wednesday in Memorial Park was confirmed to belong to missing University graduate student Cayle Bywater, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department reported Thursday.

Bywater, 29, has been missing since Dec. 29. She was last seen in Memorial Park with her dog.

A woman found the glasses in Memorial Park and called Bywater’s family, the Banner-Herald reported.

Authorities have searched the woods and lake of Memorial Park and University’s intramural fields.
