Prior to his departure for Japan, Rob (Michael Stahl-David) hosts a going-away party, but the festivities are rocked by a series of bizarre and disturbing natural disasters. Pandemonium ensues when New Yorkers discover a monstrous and shadowy creature lurking the streets. Matt Reeves, screenwriter for James Gray’s “The Yards,” directs this Drew Goddard (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”) screenplay.
