The University Police Bomb Squad is investigating a suspicious package at Bolton Dining Hall on West Campus, said Chief Jimmy Williamson.

Police “moved everyone to one side of the building” at about 5 p.m., Williamson said. Because the of the size of the package, police felt there is no need to evacuated the building and student continued eating. It is unclear how many people are inside.

“It looks like someone went through some effort” to make this package look suspicious.

Williamson said the University is in process of notifying campus using UGAAlert.
