- Memorial. The Department of Microbiology will remember Bijal Patel, a student who died in a drowning accident during spring break. A reception will follow in the President’s Garden, which is adjacent to the Chapel. Family, friends, colleagues and students are all welcome. 4 p.m. The Chapel.

- Mustache shaving. Sponsored by Athletic Department. Men’s basketball head coach Dennis Felton makes good on his promise to shave his mustache if the Bulldogs won the SEC Tournament. First 100 students present win free pizza and a 2008 Tournament championship T-shirt. Noon. Tate Student Center lawn across from Bulldog Cafe.

- Herschel Walker book signing. Sponsored by UGA Bookstore. Former University All-American Herschel Walker will sign copies of his soon-to-be-released book ‘Breaking Free: My Life With Dissociative Identity Disorder.’ 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. UGA Bookstore. Contact:

- Plant Sale. Green Thumb Explosion Booths (Master Gardeners Question and Answers Booth) Topics include rain barrels, drought bed preparation, mulch, vegetable gardening and garden equipment tool maintenance. We will be selling rain barrels made by our volunteers, along with butterfly baths, drought-resistant plants gold medal, herbs, vegetable plants and more 8 a.m. to noon. - Challenge Yourself and Fight Cancer! Drop into and climb the Indoor Challenge Course. No experience necessary. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds go to Relay For Life! The Challenge Course is located in Gym East, downstairs past the rock wall. 2 to 5 p.m. Ramsey Student Center.
