- National ‘I Have a Dream’ Conference. Sponsored by Office of Institutional Diversity. Created by philanthropist Eugene Lang more than 25 years ago in Harlem, “I Have a Dream” has been featured on CBS-TV’s “60 Minutes” and includes the “Greensboro Dreamers” chapter at Greensboro, Ga., with which the University is affiliated as a supporter. Mr. Lang, who has been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work, will be present for this conference hosted by the University. Through Sunday, July 20. Student Learning Center. - Countdown to Kickoff. Join former the University football players Jon and Matt Stinchcomb and David Greene as they host the third annual Countdown to Kickoff. The event gives fans the opportunity to meet more than 50 current and former University players. 3 to 6 p.m. Woodruff Practice Fields.
