Crimewatch Deluxe Nov. 16 – Dec. 2

The following incidents were reported by Athens Clarke County Police:

Walter Lee Brightwell, 42, was arrested and charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft by taking and two counts of felony theft by taking on Nov. 30. He was booked at 3:33 p.m. and released on a $3,000 bond at 8:53 p.m.

Kelly Renae Rogers, 22, was charged with a felony probation violation. She was booked at 5:37 p.m. on Nov. 30.

Shawn Paul Butcher, 24, was arrested and charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer, DUI Alcohol and lights required. He was booked at 2:23 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Natalie Sue Kinker, 22, was arrested and charged with simple battery on a police officer and felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer. She was booked at 3:33 p.m. on Nov.29.

Ronald Gilbert Laughton Jr., 28, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was booked at 3:12 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Michael Joseph Lesiak, 24, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was booked at 12:47 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Brad Lee Lohse, 23, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was booked at 3:32 a.m. on Nov. 29.

James Houston Washburn, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:01 a.m. on Nov. 29.

Sameer Khandal, 28, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and going down the wrong way on a one-way road. He was booked at 1:24 a.m. on Nov. 29.

Kevin Louis Perez, 21, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol. He was booked at 4:13 a.m. on Nov. 27.

Frank Prentiss Hammond, 19, was booked on a probation violation and felony possession of an ID without consent at 5:28 p.m. on Nov. 25.

James Russell Rice, 36, was charged with simple assault. He was booked at 7:43 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Jessie Morgan West, 21, was charged with disorderly conduct. He was booked at 6:19 p.m. on Nov. 21.

Christopher George Wilkes, 23, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and turning movements. He was booked at 4:32 a.m. on Nov. 22.

Philip Lind Mitchell, 23, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and disobeying stop and yield signs. He was booked at 2 a.m. on Nov. 21.

Megan Kathleen O’Donnell, 24, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. She was booked at 8:16 p.m. on Nov. 20.

Adam James Leclair, 25, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was booked at 2:10 p.m. on Nov. 19.

Tiffany Amina Camp,19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was booked at 2:49 a.m. on Nov. 19.

Thomas Arrington Rymer, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 3:07 a.m. on Nov. 19.

Margaret Elizabeth Goodner, 20, was arrested and charged with possession of a fake ID and underage possession of alcohol. She was booked at 1:12 a.n. on Nov. 18.

Ariel Briana Wilson, 27, was charged with simple battery. She was booked at 11:09 a.m. on Nov. 16.

Erin Nicole Jinks, 22, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and improper driving. She was booked at 12:19 a.m. on Nov. 15.

A theft by taking incident occurred between 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 30 at 258 Magnolia St. Justin Smith told police his unlocked vehicle, with spare key in the center console, was stolen. Inside the vehicle was an LG cell phone and an Apple laptop.

A entering auto incident occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 at 909 E. Broad St. David Asman’s convertible top was slashed open and a Garmin GPS device, Dell laptop, laptop battery, black case containing a small precision screwdriver set and a book bag were stolen.

A theft by taking incident occurred at 255 The Preserve Dr. between 4:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Nov. 29. Emily Bettis told police she believes someone known to her took a heart pendant necklace from her apartment. She did not wish to press charges, but wanted the incident documented.

A theft by taking incident occurred at the Summit Apartments between 9 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 6:25 p.m. on Dec. 2. Corry Parker told police his scooter was stolen while he was gone from the apartment. He did not know if the scooter was locked when placed on the porch, but believed that it was.

The following incidents were reported by University Police:

Meredith Clarke Ascari, 20, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and passing in a no passing zone at 1:42 pm. Dec. 1 at the Georgia Center.

Beau Joseph Tepper, 18, and Daniel Scott Zagoria, 18, were arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects and underage possession of alcohol on Nov. 26.

Kathleen Marie Hightower, 23, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and failure to maintain lane. She was arrested at College Station and East Campus roads at 1:14 a.m. on Nov. 26.

Mahlet Endale, 29, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and improper driving. She was arrested at College Station Road at 2:16 a.m. on Nov. 27.

Christopher Alexander Clark-Youngblood, 20, was arrested and charged with giving false information and underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested at the Miller Learning Center at 2:28 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Whitney Michael Kistler, 22, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol, reckless driving and duty upon striking an unattended vehicle. He was arrested on Spring Street at 12:57 a.m. on Nov. 29.

Ajaya Kumar Baswal, 36, was arrested and charged with unlicensed driver and failure to maintain lane. She was arrested at 11:42 p.m. at College Station Road on Nov. 26.

Reese McKain Fitts, 22, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol, failure to maintain lane and no turn signal. He was arrested at Cobb Street at 3:17 a.m. on Nov. 21.

James Richard Sullivan,19, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol, failure to maintain lane and underage possession of alcohol and Smith Street and Sanford Drive at 2:49 a.m. on Nov. 20.

Jesse Daniel Smith, 22, was arrested and charged with four counts of theft of services. He was booked at 10:35 p.m. on Nov. 21.

James Townsend Atkinson, 21, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and failure to maintain lane at Lumpkin Street and Milledge Avenue at 2:43 a.m. on Nov. 19.

William Travis Carter, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and possession of fake ID at Morris Hall at 4:10 a.m. on Nov. 19.

A arrest warrant was sought on Nov. 21 for Thomas Payson for a charge of underage possession of alcohol.

An entering auto incident occurred at the upper graduate lot between 9:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 1. The victim, a male student, reported a stolen GPS unit.

Nineteen Apple laptop computers worth $21,116 were reported stolen from the Lamar Dodd School of Art between 5 pm. Nov. 24 and 8 a.m. Dec. 1.

A Dell desktop computer worth $2,000 was reported stolen from the vet school between 8 a.m. Nov. 21 and 9 a.m. Dec. 1.

A simple battery occurred Dec. 3 at 2:30 a.m. at the Chi Phi house. A male student reported being threatened and grabbed by a known individual. No injuries were reported.

A theft was reported at the vet school between 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 18 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 26. A $1,300 Sony camcorder was stolen.

A theft was reported at the Ramsey Center between 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. A male student reported his keys stolen.

A theft was reported at the Administration Building between 7:50 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Nov. 25. A female employee reported a bicycle seat and seat rack stolen.

A theft was reported at the Rankin-Smith Academic Center between 10 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 4 p.m. on Nov. 5. A $1,200 Dell desktop computer was stolen.

A theft was reported at the large animal hospital between 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 19. A $678 GPS unit was stolen.

A female complained to police of pictures being posted on the Internet without her permission between 8 a.m. on Nov. 3 and 3 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Brumby Hall.

A theft was reported at the Georgia Center between 12:30 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. on Nov. 18. A male visitor reported a $2,400 laser range finder stolen.

A theft was reported at Brumby Hall between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Nov. 18. A female student reported $380 in clothes stolen.
