Texas (At-large) vs. Ohio State (At-large)

Alabama (At-large) vs. Utah (At-large, earned automatic bid)

Orange Bowl:
Virginia Tech (ACC Champion) vs. Cincinnati (Big East Champion, no specific bowl tie-in)
