- Classic Film Series: Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps.” Introduction by Janice Simon, Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Associate Professor in Art, Lamar Dodd School of Art; Filmed in the UK in 1935, the film is loosely based on the novel of the same name by John Buchan. 7:00 p.m. Georgia Museum of Art. - Pre-Professional Programs at UGA. An information session for students who are interested in pursuing the pre-law, pre-journalism, pre-business, pre-medicine, pre-pharmacy and pre-veterinary medicine programs at UGA. Career advisors, academic advisors and department administrators will be in attendance to answer questions and present information. It is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in room 102 of the Miller Learning Center.
