Student arrested on drug-related charges

University freshman William Henry Weber was arrested and charged with eight drug-related offenses Thursday night.

Weber is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Psilocybin mushrooms and six counts of possession of a drug-related object at 7:15 p.m.

The arresting officer responded to a complaint of a marijuana odor coming from Weber’s Russell Hall dorm room.

Along with drugs and paraphernalia, the officer found $337 on Weber.

Weber was taken to the Clarke County jail.
