Crimewatch Deluxe Jan. 30 – Feb. 2

The following incidents were reported by the University Police Department:

Jayce Elizabeth Vaughn was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain lane, underage possession of alcohol and open container at Carlton Street and Sanford Drive at 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 31.

Willard Brandt Campbell was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol at Creswell Hall at 2:56 a.m. on Jan. 31.

Michelle Meejung Lee was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain lane at Carlton Street and East Campus Road on Jan. 30.

Kyle Wesley Rinna was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol at the East Campus perimeter lot on Jan. 30.

A female student reported her wallet stolen from her care parked at the Intramural Fields between 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Jan. 31.

A male student reported his keys stolen from the Ramsey Center between 5:45 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 30.

A male student reported a bag containing racquetball rackets and balls stolen from the Ramsey Center between 5:45 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 30.

The following incidents were reported by the Athens-Clarke County police:

University student Sarah Lawman reported FTC fraud at College Park Lakeside Apartments between Jan. 26 at 1300 and Jan. 31 at 1300. There were $52 in charges to Proactive, Netflix, Googletree and Dri*regnetord.com. The suspect stole Lawman’s Bank of America account information.

University student Scott Long reported an entering auto at university garden apartments between Jan. 31 at 10:00 p.m. and Feb. 1 at 10:00 p.m. A $100 Magellen GPS was stolen. The driver’s side was broken with a rock.

University student Trevor Wright gave police information on Jan. 29 between 1806 and 1820. Wright said a gold Honda hit his car on Prince at Sunset while Wright was changing lanes, damaging the rims of Wright’s car.

University student Pranav Patel received a noise violation at The Summit Apartments on Jan. 29 between 11:23 and 11:30 p.m.

University student Alexa Lynne Lieppe was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol at Roadhouse Bar on Jan. 30 at 1:10 a.m.

University student Loren Edwards Riley was arrested and charged with obstruction of a law enforcement official, underage possession of alcohol, open container, and littering on Jan. 30 between 2:12 and 2:15 a.m.

University student Anne Michelle Decelles was arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol on Jan. 30 between 9:27 and 9:33 a.m. at The Retreat apartment complex. Decelles blew a .13.

Valarie Norwood of the University Police Department reported a motor vehicle theft on Jan. 30 between 5:20 and 7:38 p.m. from Lo Automotive. Norwood had dropped her car off for detailing, leaving the car unlocked with keys under the seat. At 7:38 p.m. Norwood received a call from Madison county that he vehicle had been burned.

University student Gavin Lloyd Pack, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and intoxication on Jan. 31 between 1:40 and 1:50 a.m. at the intersection of East Clayton and N. Jackson.

University student Laci Culpepper reported an entering auto at Tara Apartments between Jan. 30 at 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Jan. 31. A $550 Garmin GPS, a silver .32 caliber revolver and a black gun case were stolen. The car was locked. The GPS was fully visible and the gun was in the glove box. Scratches indicated that the car wiring was tampered with to unlock the automatic locks. Prints were taken from the front window.

University accountant Elizabeth Giddens reported an entering auto from Tara Apartments on Jan 31 between 3:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. A $100 CD player faceplate, $30 sunglasses and a $25 Rascal Flatts CD were stolen. Giddens called the police when she looked outside and saw her passenger door ajar, even though the remembered locking it the night before. There was no apparent forced entry.

University student Anne Geiter reported a motor vehicle theft from Whistleberry condos between 10:00 p.m. on Jan. 30 and 12:01 p.m. on Jan. 31. A blue Aprilla scooter was stolen.

Univeristy students Anna Katherine Echols and Alex Simmons reported a burglary from Shenandoah apartments on between 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 30 and 4:00 p.m. on Jan. 31.
The following items were stolen: $15 yellow book bag, $15 UGA id, $1,600 silver Dell laptop, 2,000 silver Dell laptop, $300 surround sound speakers, $50 pearl earrings, $30 silver cross necklace, a white gold/amethyst ring, a white gold ring with a ruby and diamonds, a white gold ring with an oblong amethyst, a gold ring with a pink ruby, a ring with gold swirls, $200 class ring with a green stone, a ring with gold and diamonds and a $30 jewelry box.
The suspect entered by pushing in the French doors on the back of the house.

University student Julian George James, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol on Feb. 1 between 1:05 and 1:35 a.m. James was stopped because the right headlight and tag light were out. James was not wearing a seatbelt. He blew a .04.

University student Kyle Robert Ketelsen, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol outside the Hilton Garden Inn on Feb. 1 between 2:10 and 2:15 a.m.

University survey research caller Hysauna Renee Hargrove-Lawson, 20, was arrested and charged with DUI, underage consumption of alcohol while driving on Feb. 1 between 2:27 and 3:50 a.m.

Five people were charged with underage possession of alcohol at Windsor Place Condominiums between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m. on Feb. 1.
University students Kelly Marie Ridenhour, Maranda Jacobus, Nancy Anne Shingler, Colin Frauley were charged and arrested, along with Katie Elizabeth Quilling and Colin Marley Verren.
Quilling was also charged with improper use of license.
The arresting officer was responding to neighborhood complaint at Windsor Place apartments.
There was a party with loud music being held in the apartment belonging to University students Laurie McGowen and Carolina Bozeman.
