CRIME WATCH

The following were reported by the University Police Department:

A University student reported a theft by taking on March 24 between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Snelling Dining Hall. A $250 iPod was taken.

An undetermined amount of money was stolen from the University by conversion between Nov. 3, 2008 at 8 a.m. and March 20, 2009 at 5 p.m.

A University employee reported a striking of an unattended vehicle in the Upper Graduate Lot on March 24 between 9:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

A burglary was reported in Creswell Hall between March 18 at 9:30 a.m. and March 19 at 9:30 a.m. A $237 battery charger was taken.

A University student reported a theft by taking in Oglethorpe Dining Commons on March 25 at 2:13 p.m. A $130 cell phone was taken.

A University student reported receiving harassing phone call in the Tate Center between 12 p.m. on Nov. 24, 2008 and 12:08 a.m. on March 25. The victim reported receiving text messages from a known individual.

A burglary was reported in the Tate Center between 12 p.m. on March 3 and 5:30 p.m. on March 20. A $1,564 radio transmitter was taken

A theft or mislaid property was reported in Aderhold Hall between 4 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2008 and March 24, 2009. A $1,007 Lenovo laptop was taken.

The following were taken from the Athens-Clarke County jail booking log:

University professor Jose Mondragon reported criminal trespass to property on March 22 between 3 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. His mailbox was damaged by rocks.

University employee Jana Renea Rivers reported a battery and criminal trespass to property at Fox Ridge Condominiums on March 22 between 10:45 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. Rivers said she gave the suspect permission to use her car for one day, but he continued to use it without permission. When she said she was going to call the police, he went to her house, hit her and damaged a $150 cell phone. There was also damage to the vehicle in the form on broken mirrors and key marks.

University student Zach Moye reported a residential burglary on Davis Street on March 23 between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. A $1,200 Phillips 42-inch LCD television, a $400 XBox 360 and a $50 XBox controller were taken. The police reported other high-value items in the residence were left undisturbed, and there was no sign of forced entry.

University student Ashley Rachel Bagwell reported a criminal trespass at Oakridge Condos on March 25 between 3 a.m. and 3:41 a.m. A $150 car passenger window was broken.

University student D’arcy Christian Hyatt reported a criminal trespass at Oakridge Condos on March 25 between 3 a.m. and 3:41 a.m. A $150 driver’s side window was broken.

University student Josh Sandler reported lost property on Vine Street between March 9 at 12 p.m. and March 24 at 12 p.m. A $600 iPhone was lost.

Georgia Center employee Quenton Lakias Scott was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intention to sell and carrying a pistol without license on March 23.

University student Marianna Collen Terry was arrested and charged with improper driving, underage possession of alcohol, false identification, DUI and a stop sign violation on March 21.

University student Madison Kathleen Bradford was arrested and charged with expired tag, underage possession of alcohol and DUI on March 20.

University student Carlin Lee Conner was arrested and charged with open container in a vehicle, underage possession of alcohol and possession of identification without consent on March 21.

University student Tyrayle Gerald McCarty was arrested and charged with reckless driving on March 20.

University student James Edgar McManemon was arrested and charged with probation violation on March 20.

University employee John Perry Moore was arrested and charged with probation violation on March 21.

University student Sophie Ruth Oreck was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol, DUI and improper driving on March 21.

University student Patrick Francis Pallotta was arrested and charged with probation violation on March 20.

University student William Hampton Powell was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol on March 21.

University student Kaitlin Mary Kelly was arrested and charged with improper driving and DUI on March 22.

University student James Holland Page was arrested and charged with lights required, DUI and underage possession of alcohol on March 22.

University student Sawyer Casey Green was arrested and charged with speeding and DUI on March 19.

University student Daisy Laura Holland was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and possession of identification without consent on March 20.

University student William Charles Kimbrough was arrested and charged with DUI and following too close on March 19.

University student Lauren Danielle Patrick was arrested and charged with DUI and speeding on March 20.

University student Brooke Elizabeth Peugh was arrested and charged with DUI and red light violation on March 20.

University student Andrew Jackson Smith was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and interference with Athens-Clarke County Police on March 20.
