Following Georgia’s sending six former football players to the NFL via the draft over the weekend, four more ex-Bulldogs have signed free agent contracts with NFL teams, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.

 Fullback Brannan Southerland, considered one of the top true fullback prospects in the country prior to a foot injury that saw him miss seven games in 2008, signed with the New York Jets.

 Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, also sidelined with injuries in 2008 after high draft expectations, will sign with the Baltimore Ravens, his agent said.

 Wide receiver Kenneth Harris will sign with the New Orleans Saints

 Wide receiver Demiko Goodman plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers

No word yet on whether defensive back CJ Byrd or punter Brian Mimbs have signed free agent contracts.
