Safety checkpoints scheduled for Tuesday
The University Police Department plans a driver safety checkpoint and sobriety checkpoint Tuesday at an undisclosed place and time.
UGA Police hold checkpoints at various times of the year, making sure drivers are updated with licenses, registrations, insurance as well as not driving impaired. UGA last held a checkpoint on St. Patrick’s Day as part of a countywide check, which yielded dozens of arrests.
