This past weekend, Georgia’s Marta Silva Zamora and Carolina Andrade placed within the top 20 in Spain’s National Championship for individual females.

The tournament was held May 25-31 in Madrid at the Puerta de Hierro golf course.

Silva Zamora put forth a remarkable effort, placing fourth. Andrade also held her own, placing 19th overall.

Silva Zamora scored rounds of 69-74-71-73. Andrade came up with a 72, a 75, a 79, followed by a 74.

Silva Zamora ended with four bogeys and three birdies while Andrade finished with seven bogeys and five birdies.
