Final provost candidate speaks today
The fourth finalist for the University’s provost position will speak today at the Chapel. Sallie Keller-McNulty, the William and Stephanie Sick Dean of the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University, rounds out the contenders for the University’s second most powerful administrative position.
Keller-McNulty has worked at Rice University since July 2005. Before that she held various professor and other leadership positions at Kansas State University, the National Science Foundation and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Keller-McNulty is one of the nation’s leading experts in applied and theoretical statistics, and is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
She will speak today, outlining her qualifications for the provost position and the plans she has if chosen, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel on North Campus.
