Crimewatch Sept. 16-20
The following was reported by the University Police Department:
Zachary Paul Dronenberg, 18, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and without headlights. He was arrested on Hull Street at Baxter Street on Sept. 16 at 12:09 a.m.
Julia Nicole Burlas, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was arrested at Creswell Hall on Sept. 18 at 3:06 a.m.
Eric John Daiber, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession. He was arrested at the Tate Student Center on Sept. 19 at 3:04 a.m.
Scott Matthew McAlister was arrested and charged with DUI drugs and failure to maintain lane. He was arrested on Sept. 20 at 10:49 p.m.
The following was reported by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department:
Anthony Leonard Fortuna, 20, was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony possession of schedule I, II, III, IV and V substances, possession of drug related objects, underage possession of alcohol and possession of a fake ID. He was arrested at 361 East Clayton St. at 4:08 a.m. on Sept. 17.
Ry Thomas Mercado, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested after vomiting in a taxi and refusing to pay at South Thomas Street at 2:20 a.m. on Sept. 17.
Daniel Tyler Gregory, 24, was arrested and charged with DUI, hit and run, seat belt violation and stop sign violation. The officer said he smelled a strong odor of alcohol and burnt marijuana coming from Gregory’s car. Gregory admitted to having been convicted of DUI in the past, and refused the officers request for field tests. Gregory was arrested on Barnett Shoals at Carriage Court at 2:48 a.m. on Sept. 17.
Esteban Luis Afonso, 28, was arrested and charged with battery and interference with a 911 call. Afonso was arrested after a fight with his wife allegedly turned physical. He was arrested at 252 Parkway Drive on Sept. 17 at 10:20 a.m.
John Hamilton Erins King was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting of a beret hat and costume gloves ($19) from Junkman’s Daughter’s Brother. He was arrested on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
Christina E. Kennedy, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol at Flannigan’s at 300 East Clayton St. She was arrested on Sept. 18 at 1:10 a.m.
Carey Allen Miller, 19, was arrested and charged with simple battery of a law enforcement officer, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested after fleeing an officer who tried to stop him and issue a noise ordinance violation at 935 Baxter St. on Sept. 19 at 1:16 a.m.
Chelsea Danison, 19, was arrested and charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and underage possession of alcohol. She was arrested after fleeing from an officer who tried to stop her and issue a noise ordinance violation at 935 Baxter St. on Sept. 19 at 1:16 a.m.
Michael B. Kellim, 20, was arrested and charged with DUI, underage possession while driving, striking an unattended vehicle and lane violation. He was arrested after an officer pulled him over for improper driving on Commerce Road at Newton Bridge Road on Sept. 19 at 12:30 a.m.
Richard Phillips Leggee, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol after the car he was riding in was pulled over for improper driving. He was arrested on Commerce Road at Newton Bridge Road on Sept. 19 at 12:30 a.m.
Kimberly Laura Warren, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol at Sideways on East Broad Street. She was arrested after being cited for open container violation on Sept. 20 at 2:10 a.m.
Matthew G. Thompson, 22, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct at the Allgood Lounge on East Clayton Street. He was arrested after yelling at and pushing employees who repeatedly asked him to leave on Sept. 20 at 1:30 a.m.
Emilie Corinne Crofford, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol at the Loft on East Clayton Street. She was arrested on Sept. 20 at 12:35 a.m.
