Equipment stolen from Brooks Hall offices
Five Brooks Hall offices – including the Terry College Dean’s office – were broken in to Saturday night, resulting in more than $6,500 worth of damage and stolen goods.
According to the University Police reports:
A $2,885 black Dell laptop was stolen from the third floor office of Paula Farrington, associate director of the Terry Career Management Center. 355
A $1,689 black Dell laptop and a $200 small white Flip camera were stolen from the third floor office of Renee Sorensen, an administrative associate in the career center.
A $1,770 black Dell laptop was stolen from the third floor office of Mary Ann Barrett, program coordinator for Master of Business Administration programs.
The doors and locks were destroyed in the fourth floor office of Ruth Davis, administrative professional in the Department of Management, and the Dean’s office on the third floor. The damage in each office was estimated to be less than $500.
Four of the five offices either have solid doors or cannot be seen into from the outside – only one office had a view of the interior portion from the hallway.
