Policies damage our image

Obama is no different than Bush. We should return our troops from Afghanistan and elsewhere. Where do we get off imposing our will on foreign nations? Besides we’re broke. Still the current administration ponders how many more troops to send into a land half a world away. We send drones to drop bombs in rural and tribal areas- how does that not increase hostilities? The only ones gainign from our actions are our powerful arms manufactuerers. It makes me sick to know that the once strong and vocal anti-war left are now submitting to the same ideological thinking of preemptive war and nation-building that has shaped our recent foreign policy. We should change our foreign policy, we should trade and communicate with all other countries and peoples peacefully and with respect. Democrats want to pay doctor costs for everyone- well how about we stop spending millions a day on killing people?
