The high price of pee

Kathleen Anne Bugnitz, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession or consumption of alcohol on June 26, according to a police report.

A taxi driver called the police on Bugnitz after she reportedly urinated in his vehicle and refused to pay a $90 punitive fee for doing so. On the other hand, Bugnitz had already paid her fare in full.

An officer arrived on the scene at 1:45 a.m.

When the responding officer approached Bugnitz, she was speaking on her cell phone to a friend.

BUGNITZ

After the officer asked her to hang up the phone, Bugnitz attempted to hand the phone over to officer so the officer might speak with the person on the other end of the line. The officer declined.

Over the course of questioning Bugnitz, the officer noted moisture on her dress “in the area you would expect it to be if someone urinated while in a seat.”

The reports states  Bugnitz did not realize she was drunk.

Bugnitz eventually consented to pay the driver the $90 fee. In doing so, it came to light that she possessed two IDs, one of which was a fake Tennessee driver’s license identifying her as Marie Catherine Bugnitz.

Bugnitz initially claimed her real name was Marie, but she relented upon the officer’s discovery of her real ID, which indicated she was underage.

After trying and failing to identify her place of residence, Bugnitz was placed under arrest. She was not charged with possession of a fake ID.
