Georgia seniors Alisa Goler and Megan Wiggins have been named Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I All-Americans.

Both Goler and Wiggins were selected to the NFCA All-America Second Team. For Goler, it marks her third selection to the NFCA All-America team after being chosen to the First Team in 2009 and the Second Team in 2010. This is the first All-America selection for Wiggins.

Goler, a native of Frankfort, Ill., concluded the 2011 season batting .305 with 16 home runs, 55 RBI, 38 runs scored and a single-season UGA record 64 walks. An All-Southeastern Conference First Team selection for a third-time in 2011, Goler concluded her four years as a Bulldog holding career records for home runs (58), RBI (236), slugging percentage (.686), walks (183), sacrifice flies (tied-12), walk-to-strikeout ratio (3.54) and toughest-to-strikeout (0.076 strikeouts per at-bat). Goler’s 183 walks also set a new SEC career record and rank seventh most all-time in NCAA history.

Wiggins, a native of Snellville, Ga., finished the 2011 season leading the team in several categories including batting average (.388), runs (71), hits (81), doubles (23), triples (5) and slugging percentage (.732). An All-SEC First Team selection for the second time in her career in 2011, Wiggins became the first SEC player and just the 11th player in NCAA history to record more than 200 career runs and 200 career RBI finishing her four years with 203 in both categories. Her 23 doubles this season were a single-season UGA record and helped raise her career extra-base hits total to a UGA career record 121 (61 doubles, 14 triples and 46 home runs).
