Psychology professor charged with DUI
A University professor charged with DUI and hit and run, was released on $3,000 bond, according to court documents surfacing today.
Billy Hammond, professor and graduate coordinator for psychology, was pulled over on Loop 10 near U.S. Highway 441 and arrested Saturday morning.
He was charged with following too closely, hit and run and driving under the influence.
His arraignment has been scheduled for March 29, according to court documents.
Hammond could not be reached for comment.
