Ali Spizman always has been taught to be thankful, and now she’s giving young children a chance to be thankful as well.
Spizman, a sophomore majoring in consumer journalism in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, designs purses, among other things, that are sold in more than 4,000 stores worldwide.

But now, thanks to threadless.com, T-shirts are back, more clever than ever.

The Web site, launched in 2000, combines kitschy “designer” T-shirts, social networking and art.

She’s a sprightly youngster compared to her associates – she’s only about 7 years old.

Performers at Canopy Studio express themselves by flying through the air as they twist, fall, flip and turn through complicated holds on the trapeze.

At 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, creative energy will flow more freely than usual.

Performers at the studio will present the public with their expressions of “Yes!” through the advanced student show held this weekend.
