Davison defeats Maddox in runoff for ACC mayor

Five and a half long months of campaigning ended in victory for mayor Heidi Davison, and defeat for her challenger, Charlie Maddox.
With all precincts reporting, Davison garnered 5326 votes to Maddox’s 4344.
Commission candidate Kelly Girtz also beat Alvin Sheats with 2139 votes to Sheats’ 1462 for District 9.
