University alum discovers calling in ceramics (w/video)

Nestled along the back roads of Athens in an old produce warehouse, Rebecca Wood and her 12 artists are busy creating beauty.

They design and create their ceramic dinnerware line from Georgia red clay and decorate them in peaceful botanical designs and luscious colors.

Club equestrian team places at opening show

The University’s Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Equestrian team, finished second in overall team points at its first show of the season on Sept. 21 at the Silverthorn Farm in Athens.

Berry College placed first overall with 30 team points with Georgia nipping at its heels with 29.

Avid fan’s milestone reached with attendance of game

On Saturday, thousands of students, season ticket holders, Gamecock fans and Bulldog fans will arrive in Columbia, S.C. to attend a game between the two teams.

For one fan, this will not be an ordinary SEC game. It will be his 400th consecutive Georgia football game.
