North Korean missile now a top priority
Sunday, President Barack Obama called for action to prevent North Korea from developing the technology to launch nuclear weapons. North Korea launched a long-range missile, also known as the Taepodong-2 rocket. Representatives from North Korea said the rocket contained a satellite that would transmit scientific data and contained hymns for leader Kim Jong-il and his late father, Kim Il Sung.
Cheating diminishes integrity
We’ve all seen them on the walls in classrooms across campus. They are the faux plaques of “A Culture of Honesty,” warning and reminding students not to cheat. The Office of Academic Affairs has said we should graduate with respect for our degrees by not cheating.

Thursday, Georgia women’s basketball coach Andy Landers cemented his place amongst the elite coaches in NCAA basketball history. With the Lady Bulldogs’ victory over Savannah State, Landers became only the fifth Division I NCAA women’s basketball coach in history to amass 800 career victories.
