So, you think you can dance? The “Emerging Choreographers” performance tonight at the New Dance Theatre, presented as part of the Young Choreographers Series, features dance on a level slightly beyond that of dancing on table tops downtown. Consisting of two shows put on by the Univeristy dance department, the purpose of the series is [...]

Considering concerns with the economy and the typically tight budgets of most college students, I decided that a piece highlighting a few pointers for eating inexpensively would be quite pertinent.  However, upon conducting a bit of research in order to round up a few outside ideas and tips, I found myself absolutely appalled.  At the [...]

As we enter the later stages of February, most people have not yet abandoned their New Year’s Resolution frenzy.  A consistent leader on nationwide top 10 New Year’s Resolutions lists, the ambition of “getting healthy”  again seems to be the 2010 determination of innumerable Americans.  In fact, I’ve never seen the Ramsey Center quite so [...]

I find that the highlights of an Athenian Autumn generally fall into three, equally vital categories: football, fellowship and food.

Although the particular recipe of choice varies amongst individuals, “comfort foods” are defined as the magical dishes which, with the first mouthful, infuses the diner with warmth, memories and an overall sense of well-being. And as we embark upon the initial chaos of fall semester, who doesn’t need a bite of comfort?

Although whipping up a single serving of Mom’s homemade lasagna in your dorm or apartment kitchen may not exactly be convenient, there is absolutely no reason any college student should be denied the consoling sensations that the preparation and devouring of such delicacies provides.
