The Zac Brown band returns to the Georgia Theatre Saturday bringing some of its southern-fried melodies that landed the band on the number one unsigned artist spot on MySpace for Southern rock. The band, which is composed of Zac Brown, Marcus Petruska, Tim Ussery, John Hopkins and Jimmy Demartini, is continuing a four-night-a-week tour in Athens.
Bar ready to convert Athenians

Corey Smith concert to benefit Dance Marathon
UGA Dance Marathon is bringing Athens’ very own Corey Smith home to the Classic Center Saturday for what promises to be a great show for a good cause. Dance Marathon is the single largest philanthropy project on campus. More than $1.5 million has been raised in the past 11 years with $250,000 from last year alone.
