ROAD TRIP!!! Four friends and I piled into a car to go to Jacksonville, Fla., for the Georgia-Florida football game on Oct. 31. We had a six-hour drive ahead of us and were stocked up on gas, food and music. Time to go. As a senior, I realized that this was one of my last real college road trips I would go on.

Since when did it become acceptable to make a Facebook poll about killing the president? Some anonymous Facebook user asked whether someone ought to kill President Barack Obama and the answers were yes, maybe, no and yes, if he cuts my health care. Sure, the pollster meant it as a joke, but when did the idea of killing the President become funny? If you think that I’m some crazy left-wing Obama lover about to criticize everyone on the right, I’m not.
Study abroad challenging, yet rewarding

Five years ago, I never envisioned myself wandering by the Pantheon in Rome while the sun was rising. I didn’t think I would argue about history while sitting in a pub in Oxford, England that C.S. Lewis frequented. Nor did I imagine I would go hunting ghost in Edinburgh on a very cold and very dark December in cemetery.
