University women looking for a unique shopping experience on Eastside are in luck.

Indigo’s, a clothing and accessories store located in the Ansonborough shopping center at 1040 Gaines School Rd., is a boutique that opened in October.

The store, which offers both surprisingly affordable clothes and those more pricey, divides its merchandise into color groups ranging from red and black to purple, pink, green, yellow and brown and makes shopping easier.

Fashion-forward students at the University have long awaited the arrival of spring for the plethora of upbeat and futuristic styles that make up this season’s must-haves. Emily Blalock, lecturer in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising and Interiors, said, “The most avant-garde trend in New York, Paris and Milan would have to be the space-odyssey look, a fabrication of high-gloss synthetics, cut in futuristic shapes with very specific nonsymmetrical details.
