For Bulldog fans, their super fan may be 28-year-old Bill Ridgeway of Jackson. Ridgeway is one of 10 semi-finalists in line to be named the South’s biggest football fan in Aaron’s Super Fan Contest.

Like waters of the Middle Oconee River, the pool of University law school applicants is drying up.
It is a trend, according to a nation-wide survey of 195 law schools released by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.
More than half of the law schools reported a decline in the number of applicants in the past year, according to the survey.
Sophomore recovers from stroke

In March 2005, Jon Clark, a sophomore from Marietta, left for Spring Break with a headache.
Two and a half years later, that is all Jon said he remembers of the events that landed him on the operating table six times and in months of physical therapy.
Jon collapsed during breakfast at a youth retreat.

According to Daniel Sniff, associate vice president of University Architects for Facilities Planning, the University needs to hire a director to sustain environmental efforts on campus.

Club tries ‘to unite’ Hispanic minority

For every Hispanic student on campus, there are 45 non-Hispanics.
This equates to a population of 2.2 percent Hispanic students, an increase of 0.2 percent since a 2006 report by the Office of Institutional Research.
They represent the third smallest minority at the University, behind American Indian and multi-racial students.
