Athens faces an unusual invasion of the a cappella kind Saturday at the Morton Theatre as six collegiate a cappella groups, including two from the University, attempt to sing, dance and beat box their way to an ultimate a cappella triumph. The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) will bring together groups from the University of Florida, Florida State University, Clemson University and the University in a monumental showdown to determine which group has the complete a cappella package – soloists, harmony and choreography.
Movie, soundtrack lack true Hollywood harmony

It seems like ever since “Garden State,” the execs up in Hollywood have been trying to recapture the magic of the perfect soundtrack and movie combination – a movie made more compelling by the songs beneath the scenes and a track list improved by the significance of the pictures that accompany it.
