Despite not being drafted this past weekend in the NFL draft, four more Bulldogs have already signed contracts with NFL teams. Former Bulldogs Kelin Johnson, Kregg Lumpkin, Brandon Miller and Fernando Velasco will all soon be relocating to their respective cities.
Herschel Walker reveals trials in book, looks for Dogs to win it all

Despite what his opponents may have thought as he bowled them over throughout his illustrious football career, Herschel Walker is not crazy. Diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (DID) in 2002, Walker has released a book entitled “Breaking Free” about his life before and after the diagnosis.
Coach keeps vow, shaves off ‘stache

True to his word, men’s basketball head coach Dennis Felton will shave off his mustache at noon today on the Tate Student Center lawn in between the Bulldog Cafe and University bookstore.
Felton was asked by a fan before a game in January if he would shave off his mustache if the team won the SEC Championship.
Cheerleader continues to recover after concussion

Georgia cheerleader Christine Conley suffered a mild to moderate concussion Sunday during the Georgia women’s basketball game in the NCAA tournament in Norfolk, Va.
Midway through the second half, the cheerleading squad was performing at center court when Conley, a senior from Millen, fell to the floor.
Swimming takes seventh at NCAA

The Georgia women’s swimming and diving team finished seventh in the NCAA championships on Saturday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Ohio State’s campus. The team tallied 198 points with strong efforts from a young team consisting of seven freshman. Arizona’s 484 points took first and its first ever NCAA Championship.
Women’s golf wins Collegiate Classic

The No. 13 Georgia women’s golf team defended its turf well this weekend as it won the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Sunday held annually at the University Golf Course. However, a playoff was needed to crown Georgia the champions as the Bulldogs and Boilermakers of Purdue were tied for first at 900 at the end of the three-day tournament on Sunday.

The Georgia men’s basketball team struggled mightily down the stretch run of the regular season, on some nights barely able to put a full team on the court. But thanks to a four-day stretch in which it was asked to endure even more, none of that will matter when it takes the court this afternoon.

Red Hotz host annual dance invitational

This Saturday, Clarke Central is going to get hot. Red hot, that is, as the University competitive dance team presents the sixth annual UGA Red Hotz Invitational.
The competition brings together 19 high school and middle school dance teams from the state of Georgia to compete.
Coach Johnson returns to home

Georgia tight end coach David Johnson has accepted a job at his alma mater of West Virginia as the offensive line coach.
Johnson has been with the Bulldogs since 2001 when head coach Mark Richt took over the program.
