Gym without cardio provides excellent workout for all ages

There is not a workout machine in sight, save a lone treadmill that sits unplugged in the corner.
Tailgate promises excitement

Students can shake hands with the football players and eat ribs alongside University cheerleaders today while tailgating with the team. The annual Tailgate with the Team pep rally is hosted to “build excitement” for the upcoming game, said Matt Slotten, president of University Union.

The marching bands of the top 10 NCAA football teams will compete in a battle of the bands-esque contest, hosted by ESPN and Paramount Pictures, to promote the release of the most recent Indiana Jones DVD.

MCG, University: Insure domestic partners, too

The Medical College of Georgia is teaming up with the University and Georgia State University in a fight to provide domestic partners of university faculty with health insurance.
The University and other colleges under the University System of Georgia only offer health coverage to children and spouses of employees.
Alcohol study links quitting drinking with depression

There is a general perception among students at the University that drinking is a normal part of college, one that can easily be disposed of upon entering the “real world.”
However, the effects of past drinking may cause more harm than just additional belly fat, according to a new study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
