Emerson Dameron WUOG Alumnus Emerson Dameron left WUOG to co-found the Chicago Undergro-und Library, an online archive of self and small press-published works in Chicago that, if left to major publishing companies and libraries, would go unread. Dameron also works as publicist for fellow WUOG alumnus DJ Danger Mouse, better known as one-half of Grammy-award winning pop music duo Gnarls Barkley.

Today, upcoming rappers Ivan Ives and Travis Williams will perform on “Crunk In The Lobby” at WUOG. The show features new hip-hop artists from the local, national and international music scenes.

One-act play offers ‘hopeful message’

Written by Lanford Wilson, “Talley’s Folly” is a one-act play of an evening between two lovers. Set in Lebanon, Mo. in the year 1944, the play is a romantic comedy that discusses issues of war and prosperity, racism and women’s roles. “The play was actually a school project done in the spring,” said Dina Camp, a member of the publicity committee.
