Emerson Dameron WUOG Alumnus Emerson Dameron left WUOG to co-found the Chicago Undergro-und Library, an online archive of self and small press-published works in Chicago that, if left to major publishing companies and libraries, would go unread. Dameron also works as publicist for fellow WUOG alumnus DJ Danger Mouse, better known as one-half of Grammy-award winning pop music duo Gnarls Barkley.

Set in Lebanon, Mo. in the year 1944, the play is a romantic comedy that discusses issues of war and prosperity, racism and women’s roles. “The play was actually a school project done in the spring,” said Dina Camp, a member of the publicity committee.
